The credentialed stuff first...
I have my BA in Art History,
I am a licensed Paint From Your Soul facilitator,
I've completed intensive courses in Shadow Work and also shamanic practices from Michael Harner's Institute for Shamanic Studies.
However at my core... I have been an artist from before I can remember.
It is who I am. Creativity and the connection I feel with my inner child is both a source of inspiration and fun as well as a way I navigate through the dark times. Through years of counseling, spiritual work and trial and error I have discovered her to be a source of
inspiration and wise counsel.
She is both my muse and my business partner.
Once I learned how to combine her enthusiasm with the loving guidance of my adult, I had a system for living a purposeful and joy filled life.
I create, among other things, over the top fantasy photo shoots for publication complete with costumes and my own custom-made faerie wings. For twenty plus years I was a successful and sought-after designer of weddings, galas and fundraisers in Santa Barbara, California. I am a fine artist with oil paintings in galleries in the Southwest and I also make animal medicine figurines and drums, among other spiritual and whimsical things. I am a creative consultant covering a range of topics from reimagining and designing old ranches into healing centers for events and education, retail store design, lay-out and merchandising. My life up to this point has been a grand adventure filled with creative endeavors that have brought me tremendous joy. Like any good adventure story however, there were many trials and tribulations, which would transform and
define my journey.
I consider my life one epic novel with drama, action, suspense, romance and comedy... yes, lots of comedy!! I am excited to see what the next chapter brings.
So far it has been a real page turner!!!
